  • Composer/Performer / Music Producer.she actively works domestically and internationally, providing music and producing work for a variety of artists, including film, drama, commercial, animation, and game music.
  • In the field of animation and film music, she has received high acclaim for “COWBOY BEBOP,” which won the 13th Japan Gold Disc Award, “Genesis of Aquarion (2008 JASRAC Award Silver Prize),” “Macross F,” “Ghost in the Shell S.A.C,” etc.,
    and she has won the Tokyo Anime Award Music Award five times.
  • In the field of commercial music, she has received numerous awards, including the Miki Torirou Advertising Music Award, the highest of all commercial music awards.
  • She composed NHK's Great East Japan Earthquake reconstruction assistance song “Hana ha Saku” and appeared in the 63rd Kohaku Uta Gassen in 2012, where she also served as a judge; composed music for the TV series ‘Gochisousan’ in 2013 and the historical drama “Onnajoshu Naotora” in 2017; and composed a dedication song for the 2019 “National Celebration for the Enthronement of the Emperor”.
  • In 2019, she composed, arranged, and conducted the dedication song “Ray of Water” at the celebration ceremony of the “National Ceremony to Celebrate the Enthronement of His Majesty the Emperor”. Her most recent works include the Netflix series “COWBOY BEBOP” (2021 / Netflix), “Maiko-sanchi no Makanaisan” (2023 / directed by Hirokazu Kore-eda), and arrangement of “Kurakura” (2024 / song: Ado).

  • He was born in 1975. He started VJ on his own when he was in high school.
    95ʼs MTV station-ID contest grand prix winning led him to join MTV Japan.
    After working for P.I.C.S., he started to work as a freelance and established SMALT Inc. in 2009.
    He has been working on commercials, music videos, projection mapping, planetariums, and other productions centered on computer graphics. In recent years, he has been involved in the production of immersive spaces using video, video production for theme park attractions, illumination productions, and other visual space productions of various sizes that transcend the square frame. His masterpieces are ACIDMAN short film, TOKYO STATION VISION, and the closing ceremony of TOKYO 2020 Paralympics. He has received numerous awards internationally.

    In recent years, he has been involved in “TOKYO NODE LAB,” which creates new urban experiences, and “KIBO Space Broadcasting Station,” a studio that connects space and ground in real time.

  • He joined Bascule Inc. in 2014 as a programmer. He is engaged in the planning and production of space-themed digital experiential content.
    He developed the MeteorBroadcaster, a meteor observation system that detects meteors occurring over Japan in real time, and a live video and audio system that allows participation from around the world inside the Japanese Experiment Module Kibo on the International Space Station. He also developed “KIBO Space Broadcasting Station”, which is the world’s first interactive live broadcast program and enable to see inside of “KIBO”, which is Japanese Experiment Module in ISS, for people all over the world.

  • He joined Hakuichi in 2004. Manager of the Architectural Decoration Production Section. He has consistently worked in the production section and has been involved in many projects as a construction manager for ordered products and architectural decorations using Kanazawa foil. His major projects include the interior of the LEXUS LS, gold leaf processing for objects at the Hyatt Centric Kanazawa, and the interior of the Bergdorf Goodman gallery in New York. He has also strengthen in on-site construction, and has worked on numerous interior decorations for luxury brands and hotels.

  • In 2007, she was chosen as the best winner of the “Victor Vocal &Voice Audition” and made her voice acting and singing debut as Ranka Lee in the TV anime “Macross F”.
    She has played many heroine roles as a voice actress, and in 2014, she appeared in "Happiness Charge Pretty Cure! (Megumi Aino/Cure Lovely) in 2014, her first starring role in a TV anime. As a singer, she has released many songs, including “Interstellar Flight” under the name “Ranka Lee = Ai Nakajima,” which became a big hit, recording a single that reached No. 5 on the Oricon and an album that reached No. 2 on the Oricon.     She won the 38th Kazuo Kikuta Drama Award for her role as Jirusha in “Daddy Long Legs - From Uncle Ashinaga”, the first musical to be performed in Japan.
    His latest collection of essays, “Manpuku-ron -Tomorrow ni Kaburetsu-” (KADOKAWA), also attracted attention. Entering her 30th anniversary year as a singer, she plans to carry out various projects in the future.
