What is the Ultra-Spatial Theater “Deep Vision”499Seconds My Gattai”?

The Ultra-Spatial Theater is a one-of-a-kind immersive exhibition where 30 participants wear VR headsets with cameras and simultaneously experience a cosmic-scale food chain while moving between VR and MR.

Shōji Kawamori, known for creating numerous sci-fi works, envisions this “cosmic-scale food chain.” By experiencing it, visitors can feel the pavilion’s concept: “Life is fusion and transformation!”

The visuals are produced by IMAGICA EEX, with direction by Isao Nishigori, a pioneer in immersive video. The sound design, created by SoVeC Inc. and Sony PCL Inc., combines audio delivered through the VR headset with spatial sound from the venue’s speakers, allowing visitors to experience the theater’s groundbreaking 3D soundscape.

This fusion of cutting-edge technology and creativity is part of an exhibition planned by Bascule Inc., the team behind the Japan Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.
