Deculture! Kawamori Stunned by New Inochi-dama Figure, Sculpted by Kaiyodo

A brand-new inochi-dama figure, crafted by legendary figure maker Kaiyodo, has made its debut—so impressive that even Shoji Kawamori, with over 45 years in the industry, couldn’t hide his amazement.

A special 40cm figure of the inochi-dama, originally designed by Shoji Kawamori, has been meticulously brought to life by the renowned figure studio Kaiyodo.

Led by master sculptor Shinobu Matsumura—famous for his lifelike animal figures—the project united Kaiyodo’s finest modelers with expert collaborators to create this extraordinary piece.

Pushing the boundaries of traditional figure-making, the sculpture captures the intricate interplay of diverse life forms—each element delicately intertwined, yet resonating in harmony.

The figure will be on display in the Source of Creation cell, which is accessible without a pavilion reservation throughout the event period.
